Atman. The soul – the immaterial essence of life that confers individuality. It is in everything and everywhere. It is in us, it is in you, and it is in everything around us. It is the eternal energy that powers the prana. For the prana to be at peace, the manas should be content, and for the manas to be content, there should be a convivial aura. And that’s the zen we believe in.
The spaces we inhabit have an Atman too, and like us, their prana, manas, and aura confide to our care. A machine can’t impart peace, contentment, and a convivial aura, only those who are a reservoir of these energies, can impart them to our space. That’s why our traditional Indian artisans have meticulously handcrafted our sustainable products, as those who know the rhythm of nature is said to have attained the ecstasy of life.

Our
Story
This part, I think this part should come from me. It’s called our story for a reason, I feel. Flaws might be there, but flawless stories are never made. The stories will also be the same, one that you might’ve heard in a distant conversation or one you might’ve read in that old novel. “Kahani vahi hain, lekin pal, voh alag hai!” Our story begins in the rustic woods of Southern India, where we take inspiration from nature. We feel most alive and fulfilled when we are surrounded by the beauty of nature, and so we have chosen to bring a little bit of nature indoors. Through sustainable harvesting, our yield of rustic woods is hand carved to perfection by our artistic artisans, through the rhythm of nature. Our artisans are well-versed in the traditional Indian crafts and carving of woods, through which they bring our designs to life. Their crafts are priceless and are sure to invoke feelings of tranquility in your home. Hastaful’s sole aim is to build a greener earth and for that, we have chosen to walk the sustainable path.
